Privacy Notice: Who we are - Conantis provides regulatory and compliance advice. The controller responsible for your personal information is Matthew Nash, trading as Conantis. For privacy enquiries, email [email protected]. Information we use - When you contact Conantis by email, we receive your email address and any information you include, such as your name, organisation, role and details of your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or information about other individuals unless it is needed for your enquiry. Why we use it - We use enquiry information to respond to you, discuss possible advisory work and keep a proportionate record of those discussions. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to prospective clients and managing business relationships. We use information only where necessary for those purposes and where our interests are not overridden by your rights and interests. If an enquiry leads to an engagement, we will provide any further privacy information needed for that work. Service providers - We use Zoho Mail to handle email correspondence. Our service providers may process personal information on our behalf to deliver their services. How long we keep information - For enquiries that do not lead to an engagement, we retain correspondence for up to 12 months after the last substantive contact, then delete it unless there is a documented reason to retain it longer, such as an unresolved complaint or legal obligation. Information relating to client engagements is subject to a separate retention policy. Your rights - Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request its deletion or restrict its use. Data portability applies only in certain circumstances. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation.
